School board members are volunteers who guide the district’s vision, oversee budgets, set policies, and evaluate student achievement. They work to ensure the district meets the needs of students, staff, and the community.

To run for the school board, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, and a district resident for at least one year.
- Submit a nominating petition signed by at least 25 qualified voters.
School board election are held annually on the third Tuesday in May. For more information on running contact the district clerk.

Yes! The public is encouraged to participate during two public comment periods at each meeting:
- First Comment Period: Focused on agenda items.
- Second Comment Period: Open for other topics.
Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. You must sign in before the meeting to speak. Written comments can also be submitted at least two days before the meeting by mailing them to:
