As a result of the Dignity Act, the Board of Regents amended Commissioner’s Regulation 100.2(c) to include classroom instruction that supports the development of a school environment free of discrimination and harassment, including but not limited to, instruction that raises awareness and sensitivity to discrimination and harassment based on a person’s actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender, and sex.

Are you being bullied? Do you think your child is being bullied? If so please talk to Becky Kellerhouse in the High School and Beth McQueeney in the Elementary School. It is important to address bulling issues as they happen and not allow things to escalate. Or email this form to the appropriate building dignity act coordinators.

McKinney-Vento Homeless Education

If you share housing with relatives, friends or others because you lost your housing or have nowhere else to go, you may be covered under the McKinney-Vento Act. Students covered under the Act have the right to stay in the same school and get transportation to school, or immediately enroll in the local school.
