Thank You -2025-26 Hoosic Valley School Budget Vote and Board Election
Dear Hoosic Valley Families,
We are very pleased to inform you that our 2025-26 school budget passed last evening with an overwhelming majority. Additionally, the minivan purchase proposition and the walk-in cooler replacement proposition (capital project) also passed. Two new Board of Education members were elected (Kyle Schmidt & David Dean) to replace Maureen Mayer & Joshua Gela. Congratulations to our new board members and a heartfelt thank you to Maureen & Josh for their years of dedicated service to the students and community members of the Hoosic Valley CSD.
This year’s budget process involved some tough decisions as expenses continue to outpace our revenue stream. We appreciate the many voices that helped shape this years budget and are confident that we have a staff and community that are equally committed to providing the best education possible for our students
The Board of Education and I would like to thank all who came out for this year’s budget vote. We appreciate your support and look forward to another great school year for our students!
