🎉 Spotlight on Ms. Bridget Trinkle: Adding Joy to Hoosic Valley’s Math Magic! 🌟
Hoosic Valley’s own Ms. Bridget Trinkle, a dedicated Math teacher, has recently celebrated a beautiful new addition to her family! On July 9, she welcomed her son, Jude Thomas, into the world—a new little Hawk to join the Hoosic Valley community! 💙👶
Ms. Trinkle is known for creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students not only thrive academically but also have fun. From using play dough to experiment with cross sections, working in “Construction Zones” to practice constructions, to competing in Pi Day challenges (318 digits recited—wow!), her classroom is filled with moments of joy and discovery. She measures the success of her lessons by how engaged and excited her students are, making every day memorable.
But her connection with students doesn’t stop at the classroom door. You’ll find Ms. Trinkle cheering at sports games, admiring the school musical, or even making fried dough at the Fair—all with the same enthusiasm and dedication she brings to her teaching. For her, being part of these positive memories is the most meaningful aspect of her role.
Reflecting on the long-lasting impact teachers can have, Ms. Trinkle strives to ensure her class becomes a positive memory for her students. She often draws inspiration from Maya Angelou’s words: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
