We’re thrilled to share highlights from the First Annual Hawks Take Flight Color Run, held on Saturday, October 19th. This vibrant event was a fantastic success, full of laughter, energy, and lots of colored powder! Our participants had a blast while supporting the HV PTO’s valuable programs and initiatives throughout the year.
A huge shout-out to PTO President Liz Ruepp, whose tireless efforts in planning and coordination brought this colorful day to life. Special thanks also to Kimberly Macica and Tiffany Hurley for managing the event, and to Cori Kinnicutt for being an outstanding emcee!
Our elementary school teachers and Principal Kerri Greco played a pivotal role in getting our students pumped up in the weeks prior to the event. It was inspiring to see most of our teachers not only volunteer but also run alongside their students—what a fantastic sight!
Gratitude also goes to our high school students who manned the color and water stations and to all PTO members, parents, and volunteers who helped with setup, running the color stations, and cleanup.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event spectacular! Check out the wonderful moments captured at the event through these links: Photo Gallery 1 and Photo Gallery 2.
