One of Jessica’s most meaningful moments came when a graduating senior thanked her in a powerful way—by presenting her with a rose at graduation. This gesture was a silent acknowledgment of how Jessica had pushed her to show up to school every day, changing her educational outlook for the better.
Jessica cherishes the connections she makes with students, especially those who may be navigating challenging times. Reflecting on one particular student, she shared, “The connections I was able to make with a graduating senior who was navigating a rough patch in life were especially meaningful.”
