We are excited to feature Annalise Romagnoli, a passionate and dedicated second-grade teacher at Hoosic Valley. One of the most positive experiences Annalise has had is working with the incredible second-grade team at Hoosic Valley. “They are amazing and supportive coworkers!” she shared, expressing her gratitude for the warm welcome she received when she joined last year. Collaborating with Jess, Bridget, Jamie, and Katie has made her teaching experience even more enjoyable.
A particularly meaningful moment for Annalise is seeing her former students’ faces light up when they see her outside her classroom each morning. “This is my first time seeing my students from last year in the halls as the new school year began, and their smiles bring me so much joy,” she said. It’s a reminder that she made a lasting impact on them as their teacher, and it brings her immense happiness to know they enjoyed their time in her classroom.
This experience has reinforced Annalise’s belief that creating positive relationships with students is essential for their learning and growth. “It’s important for students to feel comfortable in their learning environment,” she emphasized. Her number one priority is to ensure her classroom is a safe and enjoyable place where students can thrive.
Annalise is thankful not only for her wonderful second-grade team but also for the students she had last year. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her current students and is excited about the possibilities this school year holds.
