Odyssey of the Mind at the Capitol

The Hoosic Valley Odyssey of the Mind teams were honored at the NY State Capitol on 5/30/24 for coming in first place at the State Tournament. They were welcomed by Dan Casale, Rensselaer County legislator, who brought the teams to the Assembly floor.  The teams were awarded with certificates from assembly member, Scott Bendett, from the 107th district.
 
The teams then met with Senator Jake Ashby and proceeded to the Senate Chambers.  Here they were presented with a State of New York Legislative Resolution in their honor.
