Hoosic Valley Girls Track Team Wins Sectional Championship!

Congratulations to the girls varsity track and field team! Coach Forbes and assistant coaches Pagano and Rose had the Hawks ready as usual for a great day on the track and in the field. Hard work and dedication of our athletes and coaches have led to sectional championships in 5 of the last 6 years.
This was a true team effort as the girls had victories in both the 4×400 and 4×800 meter relays. They also had individual first place finishes 100m dash, 200m dash, 800m run, 1500m run, 3000m run, 2000m steeplechase and the discus throw. Additionally, the team had individual second place finishes in the 400m dash, 800m run, 1500m run, pole vault and shot put.
Several athletes will be competing individually and in relays at next week’s state qualifiers where we expect another great showing from the Hawks! Results from each of the events can be found at the link below.
