Pesticide Application on Athletic Fields – 10/28/23

Please be aware that a broadleaf infestation on our HS Athletic fields has the potential to lead to unsafe conditions. To remedy this, the District will apply a selective pesticide on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The fields that are being treated will be marked by signage for 24+ hours after treatment.
New York State Education Law, Section 409-H requires schools to provide written notification regarding actual or potential use of pesticides throughout the school year. We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep our community informed if any further action is needed.
