Hoosic Valley Hawks Mascot Unveiled

Today the Hoosic Valley Central School District was proud to introduce our new mascot to the student body. The Hoosic Valley Hawk was unveiled at an Elementary School assembly followed by a High School pep rally. The Hawk was chosen as a mascot in June 2023 by the student body and community. A committee of students, staff members, and community members then worked together to create the new Mascot/Logo. The Hawk has a strong connection to the previous Indian mascot and are known for their strength, speed, and incredible vision. These three characteristics embody the qualities that we see in our students and graduates.
