The Board of Education of the Hoosic Valley Central School District is seeking qualified individuals to fill vacancies for full-time, 12-month positions:
- One (1) CLEANER – Dusts, cleans, and polishes furniture; sweeps and washes floors, walls and hallways, cleans and washes bathroom floors, sinks, walls, toilets and mirrors; vacuums and washes carpets; maintains bathrooms by filling towel, tissue and soap dispensers; empties wastepaper baskets; gathers and disposes of refuse; may perform a variety of routine errands; may arrange chairs, tables and other equipment for special events; related work as required. This position is second shift; hours are 2:30-10:30 pm. Salary $35,360. Excellent benefit package.
- One (1) SCHOOL BUS DRIVER/CUSTODIAL WORKER – Operate a school bus for morning and afternoon runs and performs custodial duties as assigned. Custodial duties include cleaning, maintenance, and grounds keeping tasks. Related work as required. Must meet requirements for School Bus Driver as set forth in the Rules and Regulations of the NYS Commissioner of Education. Salary $49,522. Excellent benefit package.
Hoosic Valley Central School District is continuously recruiting for daily substitute personnel to be called upon on an as needed basis in the following areas:
- Custodian – $18.50 p/h
- Cleaner – $16.50 p/h
- Bus Driver – $25.20 p/h
- Bus Attendant – $15 p/h
