We are pleased to announce that Wednesday November 29th will be the beginning of “Hawk Week”. The next five school days will introduce our school and community to our new mascot culminating in a Winter Sports Pep Rally on Tuesday December 5th, where the new mascot design will be unveiled. Some of your classmates and community members have done a great job in designing a unique Mascot/Logo and we can’t wait for you to see it.
Each of the next 5 school days will have a Hawk based theme and we encourage you to dress for each day’s theme:
Wednesday 11/29 – Hats off to the Hawks
- Wear your favorite Hat to school
Thursday 11/30 – Hunting for your future
- Hawks are graceful yet powerful beings that go after what they need and want.
- Dress as your dream career or future self
Friday 12/1 – Birds of a feather flock together
- Dress up with a friend as a twin or with a whole group as your own flock
Monday 12/4 – Mondays are for the birds
- Some Mondays we would rather stay home in the nest, so today feel free to wear your PJ’s (School appropriate of course)
Tuesday 12/5 – Hoosic Valley Hawk Day
- Wear your Blue and Black clothes for the Pep Rally
